The fully galvanised Jarvis Marine Slip Ring anchor can be used as an alternative to a reef anchor, especially when conditions are rough. The advantage is when you want to up anchor it is possible to change direction of pull and so slide the anchor flukes out from under any rock or reef it may have jammed into. They're available in three sizes: 4lb, 5lb and 6lb.
