Marquesa 2-Speed reels will take your fishing to a new level. These fully machined and anodised reels have a refined feel with the strength needed to battle big fish. The two speeds, 6.1:1 and 3.1:1, cater to myriad fishing styles, making them arguably the most versatile reel in their class.

The one-piece frame is fully machined. So is the side-plate that accommodates the oversize stainless steel gears, the “push to shift/twist to release” 2-speed shifting mechanism, plus the same Fin-Nor advanced carbon fibre drags found in our big game reels.

These tough reels fight above their weight but with finesse, still free-spooling at 25lb (11.4kg) of strike drag. The full drag rating is approximately 45lb (20kg). The infinite anti-reverse provides rock-solid hook-sets and back-up strength is ample, courtesy of the double ratchet design.

Stand-up anglers will applaud the low 800g weight; casters will relish the control provided by an internal set of casting brakes; jiggers will enjoy the 1.3m line retrieved per turn of the handle, thanks to the quick 6.1:1 gearing and taller, narrower spool design. The Marquesa MA20 2-Speed is a versatile overhead reel suitable for jigging or baitfishing deep water, trolling baits and lures both inshore and offshore and its casting capabilities and line capacity make it an excellent choice for beach and rock anglers who target big game fish from land.
